Second Service: note there may be a buzz in the playback of this sermon – sorry.
First Service: there should not be a buzz in this playback, so it should sound better on the ears, although I liked the 2nd sermon better.
Change is in the air…all the time. This is important to acknowledge, if for no other reason, that it is virtually impossible to stay away from change. In light of this, some common refrains one may hear regarding change are, “I don’t like change” or “change is hard.” While there is some truth to these statements, in reality, they fall far short of reality. One reality regarding change and how it is often feared is because we can fear what we may lose when the change takes place.
New Life is in a season of tremendous change. In fact, the last year has seen a lot of change. By next Sunday (11/27/16) we will have gone from one service, to two services, back to one service – in a different location in order to have a bigger space, and this does not take into account births, deaths, new people, etc. This is a lot of change!
So how do we navigate change well? Listen in and let us continue to work together.
