Series: Room For Doubt
Text: Matthew 28; Luke 24; James 1; Genesis 12,20
Preacher: Brent McCrory

Doubts, everyone you know has at least one. Sometimes these doubts are known and shared, and sometimes they are kept quiet and hidden. Also, simply to be clear, I am talking about doubts in all areas of life (e.g., I do not know if purchasing that car is the right move for us now. Do you think it would be a good idea to look into another job? I am not sure if I really love him/her anymore…). With those few examples we can see that doubt is a part of life.

Yet, why then is doubt so often shunned, or looked down upon within Christianity? “Don’t doubt, just believe.” or “Don’t be a ‘Doubting Thomas’.” are sometimes frequently heard. But why? Is this healthy? Is this realistic? It does not seem to match up with how doubts are handled in other areas of life. Why is this?

Listen in as we start our journey in a six week series dealing with doubts – Room For Doubt. You, and your doubts, are welcome here.
