There is nowhere we can flee from God's presence.  Unfortunately it often seems many live as if God is either "hiding" (e.g., He is unseen so He is not with us) or live as if He does not exist.  Neither scenario is good; both fall woefully short of what takes place during the Lord’s Supper.  But what takes place during the Lord’s Supper?  Are we eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking His blood?  Are the wine and bread “symbols”?  The early Church did not refer to the Lord’s Supper as a “Mystery” for nothing…
