Our culture has lost touch with the concept of sin. As Christians this should not bother us because people outside of The Church need to know how much God loves them (i.e., they do not need well intentioned Christians telling them they are sinning and going to hell). However, when the 'blind eye' culture turns to sin makes inroads into The Church, this is cause for concern. Despite sin being labeled in a variety of ways by culture (and sadly in the church all too often), sinful behavior is just that - sinful. As Christians we need to not only realize this and seek forgiveness, but also realize the truth of God's Word - that we can be set free from the bondage of sin in our lives. How is this possible? It is possible when we understand not only is forgiveness available to us, but a cleansing is available as well.
