Sermon Series: The Story: Reforming & Restoring
Text: Revelation
Preacher: Brent McCrory

All stories must come to an end – at least so they say. Yet the reality is, while the Bible does “end” with the book of Revelation, God’s Story does not end there (after all, there is a new heavens and new earth).

Granted, it is true the book of Revelation gives us some “snapshots” of the end of time as we know it, yet this is not the primary focus/purpose for the book of Revelation. So what is it’s primary purpose? Why did God reveal these things to John? It can be summed up in the title – Trust. In other words, as God wraps up His Story, we must trust the Master Story Teller. The implications of this trust are beautiful, challenging, and comforting all at the same time.
