People want to make a difference. While there are exceptions, practically everyone desires something more for their life. This “something more” can take a variety of forms…yet an undeniable appeal to countless people is the desire to be a part of something bigger than themselves.
It is why sports teams draw so many people – both fans and participants. It is why there is national pride, and counter-cultural voices. It is why participatory TV shows were a stroke of genius; certainly for the producers, but also for those who long for a sense of belonging – somewhere.
Getting involved in New Life is certainly getting involved in something that is bigger than you. In fact, getting involved in New Life is among the best decisions you can ever make. After all, God is in the process of undoing the effects of sin on His creation…and our desire is to be a vehicle through whom He can work for His glory as this happens both in and through us.
